AiM stands for "Assessment in Mathematics." It is an online homework/testing system which uses Maple for the generation and grading of questions. Most questions are written with randomization built in so that generally students are not asked identical questions.
After trying it out a little, check out the documentation. You'll find instructions for writing questions (which is suprisingly easy once you've done a few) and for running your own server.
The official site for AiM is aiminfo.net, where you can find more sample questions. AiM is a mostly open source project which is being developed by a community of users. The project's Sourceforge page is sourceforge.net/projects/aimmath/.
